Philip Spinka has been DJing at weddings and parties, while planning and directing events for over 25 years. Invited to DJ, teach, and perform at Ballroom, West Coast Swing and Hustle dance events, Philip has enjoyed sharing his passion for music and dance with everyone, from wedding couples to competitive dancers.

 

Working as a professional dancer, instructor, and performer for nearly 20 years, he received his teaching certifications in Hustle and West Coast Swing from the IHDA and the GPDIA.  As a competitor, he won and placed in hundreds of competitions, as well as earning West Coast Swing Rising Star placements.  Excelling at West Coast Swing, Hustle and Theater Arts, he also trained in Ballroom, Tango and Jazz.  Based in New York at Stepping Out Studio for several years, Philip taught and performed all over New York, Philadelphia and New Jersey, in addition to traveling the nation.  He is also on staff at Stardust Dance Productions, teaching, performing and DJing in New York City, the Catskills and on cruise ships.  Philip currently teaches at his studio (Studio 221) in Clarks Summit, PA, while traveling to New York, Philadelphia, and New Jersey to teach.

 

Philip’s passion for music shows in his event planning and many satisfied clients.  His knowledge of dance taught him the purpose of music.  Thanks to decades of training, he discovered that the purpose of dancing is to paint a picture using music.  Philip is waiting to share this magic with you!
